FM: Israel occupied Rafah crossing, Security Council must act firmly

Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, said on Tuesday that instead of giving negotiations on hostage release and ceasefire a chance, Israeli govt occupied Rafah crossing.

Safadi added in a post on his official X account: "Instead of giving negotiations on hostage release and ceasefire a chance, Israeli govt occupied Rafah crossing and closed it to humanitarian aid to starved Gazans."

"Its attack on Rafah threatens another massacre. SC must act firmly & immediately. Netanyahu must face real consequence," Safadi wrote.
