Ammon News - Dr. Abla Al-Washah, spokesperson of the Land Transport Regulatory Commission, verified that passenger movement to and from neighboring countries is running smoothly without any impediments, especially regarding land travel to and from Syria.
In her interview with Public Security Radio on Sunday, Al-Washah emphasized the need to regulate and monitor all travelers through an electronic platform in Jordan and Syria, in response to the security issues and smuggling activities along the borders as stated by the government.
She detailed that the platform's primary objective is to streamline the car entry and exit procedures for both parties, emphasizing the importance of drivers not experiencing significant delays and receiving approval within 3 to 4 days from the request submission date on the platform.
