Ammon News - The weather on Saturday is set to be cold almost countrywide and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

According to the JMD report, temperatures are forecast to rise on Sunday to become about 4-5 degrees Celsius above their seasonal average with sunny and pleasant weather almost nationwide.

Also, another rise in mercury is expected Monday higher than its seasonal average by about 5-7C and the weather will be pleasant almost countrywide and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

On Tuesday, the weather will remain substantially unchanged with southeasterly moderate winds.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will hit 18C, dropping to 6C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding to 12C at night.
