Energy: Global oil prices drop

Ammon News - Oil derivative prices dropped in international markets in the second week of November in comparison to their prices in the first week of that month.

As reported in the latest Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources bulletin, the cost of 90-octane gasoline dropped by 3% from $678 to $659 per ton, and the price of 95-octane gasoline decreased by 2% from $729 to $714.

The announcement stated that diesel fell from $655 to $640, a 2 percent decrease, and kerosene dropped from $704 to $690, also by 2 percent.

The cost of fuel oil decreased slightly from $446 to $442, a 1% drop, while the average price of liquefied petroleum gas rose in November to $631, up 2% from October's $621.

Regarding the cost of Brent crude oil, it dropped by 3 percent, going from $76 to $73 per barrel.
