The 16-year old reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself using a firearm. Police launched an investigation to look into the details of the incident and the reason behind the young man's act. In a separate incident, a young woman on Monday attempted to commit suicide in Amman, threatening to throw herself off the Abdoun Bridge in western Amman. Hundreds of people crowded near the bridge as police worked to dissuade her from jumping off. The Abdoun Bridge witnesses several suicide attempts every year, some attempts are carried through while others are contained when the jumpers are dissuaded from going through with their attempt.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A local teenager in northern Jordan reportedly committed suicide on Monday in the northern Badia town of Sabha.

The 16-year old reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself using a firearm.
