Ammon News - The Northern Military Zone thwarted two infiltration attempts in the past 24 hours, on one of its border fronts within its area of responsibility, an official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said.

The rules of engagement were applied, which led to the killing of one of the infiltrators and the arrest of 6 people who were transferred to the competent authorities, the source added.

The source also stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army will deal with all force and firmness with any attempt at infiltration or smuggling to protect the borders and prevent anyone who dares to tamper with national security.
