Ammon News - Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mamoun Al-Debi'e, announced that the number of Arab and foreign students who recently joined Jordanian higher education institutions at the beginning of the current academic year 2024-2025 in all programs, specializations and degrees reached 11814.
He confirmed that the total number of Arab and foreign students studying in Jordanian higher education institutions in various programs, specializations and degrees at the beginning of the current academic year 2024-2025 rose to 51647 male and female students who came to study in the Kingdom from 113 countries around the world.
The students were distributed between 19,706 male and female in community colleges, university colleges, and public universities, and 31,941 in community colleges, university colleges, and private universities, noting that the total number for last year 2023-2024 was 46,362, meaning that the total number increased this year over last year by 5,285 male and female students.
