Shooting in Rabieh area is terrorist attack on security forces, gov't says

Ammon News - Minister of Government Communication, Mohammed Momani said that the shooting attack that took place early Sunday in Amman’s Rabieh district is a terrorist attack on the Public Security Forces that are doing their duty.
Momani stressed that Jordan's stability and security are a 'red line' and that no one will be allowed to tamper with it, indicating that tampering with the nation's security and assaulting public security forces will be met with uncompromising firmness and the force of the law, and any criminal who attempts to do so will receive just retribution.
These attacks that took place by outlaws and those with criminal and drug records on the security forces of the Public Security are rejected and condemned by every honorable Jordanian, the minister noted.
He also confirmed that Jordan's strength, resilience and stability are the solid foundation for supporting the nation's issues, foremost among which is the Palestinian issue.
The minister concluded by saying that investigations are ongoing into the heinous terrorist incident to find out all the details and connections and to take the necessary security and legal measures accordingly.
