The woman threatened to commit suicide, demanding that her children be brought from conflict-ridden neighboring Syria into Jordan. Police cadres managed to dissuade her from jumping after holding talks with her. The incident witnessed a severe traffic jam and complete blockage of traffic flow on both directions of the bridge before police were able to handle the incident.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A woman on Wednesday attempted suicide by threatening to throw herself off the Abdoun bridge in western Amman.
