New aid convoy sent to Gaza

Ammon News - Amman, (Petra) - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Wednesday sent a new aid convoy to the Gaza Strip to help alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The eight-truck convoy, which is laden with 108 tons of food items like sugar, rice, milk, tea, cooking oil and flour, is part of the Kingdom's continued support of the Palestinians under the current difficult circumstances in the face of Israeli aggression, said the JHCO's Acting Secretary General Rajab Zubaida.

The number of JHCO's humanitarian convoys since the beginning of the siege on the Gaza Strip in 2008 until now reached 101 convoys including 1464 trucks laden with 18,034 tons of aid.
