Ammon News - The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a joint special security force, after collecting information and determining the whereabouts of one of the most dangerous drug dealers and smugglers and those dealing with regional smugglers, carried out a raid on the place within the Al-Ruwaished District (northern Jordan).

He added that the wanted man fired shots from an automatic weapon at the security force, and the rules of engagement were applied to him, which led to him being injured in the foot area and being subdued, and he was taken to the hospital, while two other people who were with him were arrested.

The media spokesperson confirmed that 125 handfuls of narcotic hashish, 53,000 narcotic pills, a quantity of narcotic crystal, and three firearms, two of which were automatic, were seized from his possession, and investigations into the case have begun.
