Jordan sends new 32-truck aid convoy to northern Gaza

Ammon News - The Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army and the Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) sent Monday a new humanitarian aid convoy to the people in northern Gaza, in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP) and with the support of the Indonesian Students Union, the Palestinian Child Relief Fund (PCRF), Tkiyet Um Ali, and other popular campaigns.
The convoy, consisting of 32 trucks, carried basic food parcels, consumables, medical supplies, and medicines, to be distributed to the people in Gaza, specifically within the northern regions of the Strip, through associations and partner organizations in the Strip.
JHCO's Secretary General, Hussein Shibli said that basic needs are being sent and met to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza.

In view of the severe shortage of blood units that the Gaza Strip suffers from, a blood donation campaign was launched in cooperation with Jordanian professional unions to be sent in land convoys to supply hospitals and health centers with them for the purposes of implementing the necessary procedures and treating the wounds of our people in Gaza, he added.
He also explained that the total number of trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip to date is 2,302 trucks and 53 aircraft via El-Arish Airport.
