Ammon News - A new humanitarian aid convoy crossed into Gaza, led by the Jordanian Armed Forces/ Arab Army (JAF) and the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO), and included 92 trucks loaded with basic food parcels, tents, and health packages, according to a statement by the organization.
The statement added that the convoy was carried out in partnership with the World Food Program (WFP), the Qatar Red Crescent, and other organizations, to distribute aid to the people in Gaza through partner associations and organizations in the Strip.
JHCO's Secretary-General Hussein Shibli, said, "The humanitarian situation in Gaza cannot tolerate delaying the sending and entry of various humanitarian aid, which directly contributes to the continuity of the lives of those affected in the Strip by our people in Gaza."
The JHCO is seeking to provide more basic and necessary aid, which is considered a lifeline for our people in Gaza, in cooperation with various supporting bodies from around the world, Shibli explained.
The total number of land trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip to date has reached 1,456 trucks and 53 planes via El-Arish Airport in Egypt, according to the organization.
The JHCO remains open to receiving monetary donations through its designated bank account at the Union Bank of Jordan, Al-Wehdat branch. Additionally, the organization has facilitated the "CliQ" service under the name JHCOGAZA, as well as electronic payment options, bill payments, exchange offices, and its official website, www.jhco.org.jo.
