Ammon News - Friendly countries carried out on Wednesday 5 humanitarian aid airdrops, targeting a number of sites in the northern Gaza Strip.
This comes as a continuation of the ongoing international efforts undertaken by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to alleviate the suffering of the residents of the Gaza Strip due to the conditions of war in the Strip.
An aircraft belonging to Egypt, an aircraft belonging to the UAE , an aircraft belonging to the Federal Republic of Germany, in addition to two aircraft belonging to the Kingdom of Spain participated in implementing the operation.
The participation of the Kingdom of Spain for the first time is considered a qualitative addition to the landing operations led by Jordan to mobilize more international positions to deliver food aid to the population suffering from famine as a result of the ongoing Israeli war, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
The JAF confirmed that they are continuing to send humanitarian and medical aid via an air bridge to be delivered via aid planes from Marka Airport towards El-Arish International Airport, or through airdrops on the Gaza Strip or ground aid convoys.
The number of airdrops carried out by Jordan, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, rose to 60 Jordanian airdrops, and 101 airdrops in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.
