The Cabinet, in response to the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, decided last October to allocate JD3 million to support the budget of the UNRWA. The decision comes in view of the difficult financial circumstances that the UNRWA is going through, and to help it provide its basic and necessary services to its Palestinian refugee beneficiaries in the Kingdom, in line with the Kingdom’s position in support of UNRWA.

Ammon News - The Cabinet, in its session held Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, decided to exempt the UNRWA from the costs of school books for the years (2019-2023), which worth to more than JD4 million.

The Cabinet, in response to the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, decided last October to allocate JD3 million to support the budget of the UNRWA.

The decision comes in view of the difficult financial circumstances that the UNRWA is going through, and to help it provide its basic and necessary services to its Palestinian refugee beneficiaries in the Kingdom, in line with the Kingdom’s position in support of UNRWA.
