Ammon News - Jordan ranked 7th in the Arab world and 86th globally on the prosperity index for the year 2023, according to the Legatum prosperity index 2023, which measures 172 countries, according to what Ammon News agency monitored.
The United Arab Emirates ranked 1st in the Arab world on the prosperity index for the year 2023, and 44th globally.
Qatar ranked 2nd in the Arab world and 46th in the world, followed by Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
Yemen was the least prosperous and prosperous Arab country in 2023, according to the index.
Globally, Denmark ranked 1st , followed by Sweden and Norway.
As for the United States, it ranked 19th globally, preceded by the United Kingdom in 12th place.
Jordan ranked 74th globally in the level of security, safety and stability, while it ranked 61st globally in the level of living conditions, which measures the degree to which everyone enjoys a reasonable quality of life, including material resources, shelter, basic services and communication.
As for the level of education, Jordan ranked 90th globally, as the index measures enrollment rates, results and quality across four stages of education (pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher education).
At the level of health, Jordan ranked 100th globally in terms of the extent to which people enjoy good health and their ability to access the services necessary to maintain good health, including health outcomes, health systems, disease, risk factors, and mortality rates.
