Ammon News - A slight rise in temperature is forecast on Tuesday, with moderate weather conditions prevailing in most regions. However, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to be warm, the Jordan Meteorological Department JMD said in its daily update.
Clouds will be visible at different heights, with a chance for light showers of rain in some parts of the eastern region. Northwesterly moderate winds will also blow throughout the day.
On Wednesday, the JMD predicts a further increase in mercury levels, making it relatively hot in most regions, with medium and high-altitude clouds. Southeasterly moderate to brisk winds are also expected.
Furthermore, temperatures are expected to soar on Thursday, touching 6-7 degrees above the annual average. The weather will be dry and relatively hot countrywide, with southeasterly moderate winds, stirring dust in the Badia.
Today's peak temperatures will be between 24 and 22 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 14 or even 12 degrees in the southern highlands at night.
The Gulf city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 34C and lows of 22C.
