Slight drop in temperature, cool weather at night

Ammon News - A slight drop in temperatures is forecast on Thursday, yet it will remain above the annual average, with relatively cold weather prevailing in most parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds will appear at low altitudes, and winds will be northwesterly moderate.

Over the weekend, similar weather will persist despite a rise in mercury levels, with low-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate winds.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 4C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 23C, sliding to 11C at night.
