Jordan condemns continued Israeli incursions into Palestinian cities

Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned Israel's continued incursions into the occupied Palestinian cities and its repeated attacks, the latest was the raid on the city of Nablus on Wednesday.

In a statement, the ministry's official spokesperson, Sinan Majali, denounced Israel's continued military campaigns, reiterating Jordan's position on the need to stop these attacks and work immediately to stop escalation to avoid further deterioration, halt its causes and achieve calm, warning of the repercussions of this deterioration on all parties.

He said Jordan is working "intensively" with all parties to achieve this goal.

He also stressed the need to find a "true" political horizon that would prevent continued spiral of violence and stop deterioration, which would lead to resuming negotiations to reach a solution to the conflict on the basis of the two-state solution that establishes the independent Palestinian state with occupied East Jerusalem as its capital on June 4, 1967 lines.
