Issis stated during his intervention under the dome during the session on social security rates on Wednesday that the main issue Jordan is now facing is unemployment, particularly among young people.

The cost of young people entering the workforce should be as low as possible, he continued, while still maintaining the guarantee's actuarial balance.

He emphasized the necessity to face unemployment in a modern way that motivates people to enter the labour market since doing otherwise would mean continuing to work in the unofficial, parallel sector.
