Revealing circumstances of murder that remained unknown for 35 years

Ammon News - The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that one of the investigation teams was able to complete the investigation in one of the unknown cases, which was committed in "1987" and remains unknown until today.
In the details of the case, in 1987, the body of an expatriate of Arab nationality was found killed by two gunshot wounds in his workplace as a guard for a building under construction north of Amman, the identity of the killer was not determined at the time, and the case remained under investigation with unknown cases.
The media spokesperson confirmed that the investigation teams reopened the file of this case and made a continuous effort and collecting information, all of which led them to new information that limited the suspicion of a person who was working in the same building at that time.
He indicated that he was arrested, and by further investigation with him, he admitted that he had committed the crime 35 years ago.
He was working in the same building which was under construction, and he went at night in order to steal equipment and materials, and while he was stealing, the guard tried to stop him, but he fired bullets at him, and left the place.
The case was referred to the Public Prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court, who decided to detain him in a correctional and rehabilitation center on charges of premeditated murder.
