Ammon News - Temperatures on Thursday are expected to be a few degrees below the annual average, with cold weather conditions prevailing in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, where it will be pleasant, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD added.
The weather department warned of poor horizontal visibility in the early morning hours over the highlands and the plains due to heavy fog.
Over the weekend, similar weather conditions will persist, with low clouds and a chance for spotty showers in the northern and central regions, the forecasters predicted.
Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 11 degrees Celsius and a low of 4C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 20C, sliding to 13C at night.
