15 drug dealers arrested in raids across Jordan

Ammon News - A series of police raids and security campaigns were launched across Jordan in the last 24 hours, during which 15 drug traffickers, some classified as dangerous and armed, were arrested in possession of large quantities of narcotics.
The Public Security Department's (PSD) spokesman said a security force simultaneously raided 4 hideouts in Aqaba, arresting 5 dealers and seizing over 24 hashish blocks, 300 narcotic pills, and several firearms.
In Zarqa, two traffickers were raided and arrested on a farm, from which 10 hashish blocks and 2,000 narcotic pills were confiscated.
A "dangerous and armed" trafficker in Ma'an was ambushed by police while attempting to transport 3.5 hashish blocks and 2,000 narcotic pills with his partner in a vehicle. He resisted the arrest but police officers were able to arrest him. A dealer and his partner were also ambushed and arrested from his vehicle in Mafraq in possession of 11 hashish blocks and 4,000 narcotic pills.
Moreover, a dangerous dealer wanted for 20 security counts was captured in Ajloun, in addition to two traffickers in Balqa and one in Ramtha, all in possession of drugs and firearms.
