Wala, Mujib dams received 23.5mcm within 24 hours

Ammon News - Ministry of Water and Irrigation said that about 23.5 million cubic meters of waters entered the Wala and Mujib dams during the past 24 hours, raising the dams' storage to 25.3% or 71.11 million cubic meters, out of their total storage capacity of about 280 million cubic meters.

The Wala dam received about 12.5 million cubic meters, raising it storage to 120625 million cubic meters by 50.3%, and about 10million cubic meters in Mujib dam, raising its storage to 13.582 million m3 by 55%, while the southern dams did not enter any quantities of water.

Concerning the volume of rainfall, the rate increased to 37.4%, accounting for 47% of the volume of total precipitation last year compared to 20.8% for the same period last year, the highest amount of precipitation was recorded in Khan Al-Zabib station / Madaba, with 45 mm.
