ASEZA: 2450 tourists arrive to Aqaba

Ammon News - The Commissioner for Tourism and Environment at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Nidal Majali, confirmed the arrival of a tourist ship carrying 2450 tourists to Aqaba at the beginning of the new year 2023.

In a statement to Ammon on Monday, Majali said that there are activities and a joint work program with the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) for tourism marketing in the city of Aqaba for the new season.

Aqaba exceeded the barrier of 2 million visitors, tourists and reservations during the year 2022, he added.

He pointed out the ASEZA is optimistically looking forward to receiving 96 cruise ships this year.
