Ammon News - The Kingdom on Monday will be affected by unstable weather conditions, bringing chilly weather and partly cloudy skies with spotty showers in the southern and parts of the central regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Rainfall is expected to be heavy with thunder and hail at times, while winds will be southeasterly active with strong gusts reaching 50-60 km/hour and blowing dust in the southern and eastern areas of the country, the JMD added.
The department warned of poor horizontal visibility in the highlands and the Badia due to fog formation and dust, slippery roads and of floods in valleys and lowlands.
Over the next two days, the Kingdom will remain under the impact of atmospheric instability with heavy downpours accompanied by thunder storms and hail, causing flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, the forecasters said.
Today, temperatures in Amman will range hit a high of 8C, dipping to 4C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 22C, sliding to 11C at night.
