The weather department warned of low visibility due to fog late at night and of frost in the early morning hours over the highlands and parts of the Badia. Similar weather will persist during the weekend, with a slight chance for scattered showers late Saturday in limited areas of the southern and eastern regions, the JMD added. Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 12 degrees Celsius and a low of 4C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 21C, sliding to 10C at night.

Ammon News - Relatively cold weather is forecast in most parts of Jordan on Friday with southeasterly moderate winds and clouds at low altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

The weather department warned of low visibility due to fog late at night and of frost in the early morning hours over the highlands and parts of the Badia.

Similar weather will persist during the weekend, with a slight chance for scattered showers late Saturday in limited areas of the southern and eastern regions, the JMD added.
