Ammon News - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Tuesday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip.

A statement by the JHCO said that the convoy, comprises 13 trucks carrying food parcels, will be delivered to the Palestinian Ministry of Social Affairs and the military field hospital to be distributed to those who are eligible in the Strip.

JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli said: "The JHCO received a donation from the Jordanian Pharmacists Syndicate, and food parcels with their ingredients were purchased from the local market, in addition to receiving a donation from Qatar Charity in Jordan, and coordination was made with the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army to deliver them to the Gaza Strip, and we extend our thanks To the honorable donors for this initiative to help the families in the West Bank and Gaza Strip."
