Ammon News - Senate President Faisal Fayez and Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi said Saturday that security forces will reach and punish the criminals who killed Col. Abdulrazzaq Dalabeeh, deputy director of Maan governorate, in the line of duty.

"The martyr is the son of all Jordanians, and his name will remain engraved in the national memory as a brave hero, who was targeted by the vicious hands of treachery as he performed the duty of protecting his country's security and stability," they said as they offered condolences to the officer's family.

They said all Jordanians stand behind their leadership and security forces, and "the perpetrators will be defeated in their doomed attempt to undermine national security."

Fayez and Safadi urged Jordanians to rally behind security bodies to counter the outlaws to receive punishment for their actions, including attacking security personnel or public and private property, cutting off roads and intimidating citizens that undermine the rule of law.
