Ammon News - The Cybercrime Unit in Jordan Friday announced that it is monitoring what is published on social media, especially about hate speech, incitement to vandalism and assaults on law enforcement officers, property and roadblocks.

It said in a statement that the competent authorities would hold those who spread hate speech accountable according to the law.

The Unit said Tik Tok did not address the misuse of the platform by its users by glorifying and spreading acts of violence or calls for chaos, nor did it deal with promoting and fabricating videos from outside Jordan; therefore, its services in Jordan were "temporarily" suspended.
