Ammon News - The State Security Court (SSC) sentenced handed a person a 20-year jail term and fined him JD20,000, while two others were sentenced 10 years behind bars and fined an amount of JD10,000 for smuggling about 2 million Captagon pills from a neighboring country for trading.

In a public session on Thursday, the SSC said two suspects smuggled 1,920,000 Captagon pills, while 88,000 tablets were seized in the other's vehicle, the indictment sheet showed.

In addition, the court jailed a person of Arab nationality for 10-yrs temporary labor and fined him JD10,000 after being caught, in possession of 88,000 Captagon pills in his vehicle.
