Social Development Minister receives UNDP Jordan representative

Ammon News - Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa on Tuesday with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Resident Representative in Jordan, Randa Aboul-Hosn.

The meeting covered ways to enhance joint cooperation and the importance of the agreement signed with the UNDP on social protection and the provision of support for initiatives, programs, projects and activities in social services field.

Bani Mustafa underlined the importance of building strategic and programmatic relationships in the social and economic empowerment of targeted groups, especially in enhancing productivity, juveniles and persons with disabilities, which enables the creation of an inclusive environment for them on social and economic levels, develop their skills and enhance their civic participation.

Aboul-Hosn underscored the effectiveness of partnership and cooperation with the Ministry in providing various social services to the beneficiaries of its services.

She voiced full commitment to the implementation of the terms of the agreement signed with the Ministry that aimed at establishing a strategic partnership on social protection.

Aboul-Hosn lauded the Ministry's role in providing and supporting social issues for all vulnerable and targeted groups in the its programs.
