Ammon News - The Kingdom on Tuesday will remain under the impact of a weak state of atmospheric instability. Therefore, relatively cold weather will prevail in much of the country, with clouds at various altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

In the evening, chances for intermittent showers accompanied by thunder at times are expected in the eastern region, extending later to cover limited parts of the central and northern areas, the forecasters predicted.

The weather department warned of poor horizontal visibility in the early morning hours over the highlands and Badia due to dust and fog formation, and of slippery roads in areas experiencing rain.

Toward Wednesday, relatively cold conditions will persist countrywide, with cloudy skies and southeasterly moderate to active winds, the JMD said.

As for Thursday, pleasant weather conditions will prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be moderate, with clouds of various altitudes.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 6C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 25C, sliding to 14C at night.
