Prince Faisal participates in executive meetings of ITTF

Ammon News - HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) and member of the Executive Office of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Saturday participated in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), which is being held in Amman.
During the meeting, His Highness welcomed the ITTF’s President, Petra Sörling, and the members of the Executive Committee of the ITTF, which is considered one of the most important meetings of the International Table Tennis Federation.
Participants in the meeting discussed many issues related to table tennis and the future directions of the Federation, in addition to discussing the topics of protection and gender equality in sports.
HRH Prince Faisal chairs the Protective Council as its founder at the FIBA as well as several positions on IOC committees.
The ITTF Summit will be held after the Executive Committee meeting from 4-6 December in the presence of 227 representatives of the ITTF Member States, FITC Executive Directors, sports representatives from around the world as well as a number of sports personalities.
The three-day summit will include workshops on sustainability, keynote speeches by ITTF decision-makers, gender equality, integrity and the future of table tennis through programs and projects that the ITTF seeks to implement in the coming period.
