 Mayor of West Irbid Municipality, Jamal Bataineh, on Tuesday met with a delegation of experts representing the German municipality of Munich.

The meeting covered opportunities to enhance cooperation in the field of training, developing and increasing the productivity of workers in the municipality's container factory.

Bataineh commended the Munich municipality's role in supporting the establishment of the container factory in the West Irbid municipality years ago, adding that the municipality is looking forward for more cooperation in order to increase the factory's productivity to meet needs of the municipality's service areas.

Bataineh highlighted the container factory's key administrative, technical, logistic and training needs.

In turn, the German delegation stressed the Munich Municipality's keenness to meet needs of West Irbid Municipality, including rehabilitating and training technicians in the container factory and increasing its productivity, which reflects the fruitful cooperation between the two municipalities.
