Senate President meets with Hungary's Ambassador to Jordan

Senate President Faisal Fayez on Sunday met with Hungary's Ambassador to Jordan, Attila Káli and discussed bilateral relations between Jordan and Hungary, and means to enhance cooperation in various fields.

 

Fayez stressed Jordan's firm stance on the Palestinian cause and the need to resolve it according to international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution to enable Palestinians to establish an independent state.

 

Fayez said that ties between the two countries are strong, mutually beneficial and are based on respect.

 

During the meeting, Fayez stressed the importance of bolstering bilateral ties, especially in the agricultural and technological fields.

 

For his part, the envoy stressed his country's appreciation of the Jordanian role, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, in striving for the safety and security of the region and taking care of Syrian refugees, hoping to further increase cooperation with Jordan in the education and tourism fields.

 

He added that Jordan plays a central role in settling down conflicts and crises in the Middle East region, a role that is recognized and respected by all.
