Lawmakers meet with Khazah envoy

Ammon News - The Jordanian Parliamentary Friendship Association with Asia and Oceania received Kazakhstan's Ambassador Aidarbek Toumatov to discuss ties and exchanging expertise.

During the meeting, Head of the association Abdul Rahim Ma'aya underlined the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Kazakhstan, pointing to His Majesty King Abdullah's positions, which highlight the Palestinian cause, and the Hashemite Custodianship over Muslim and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

Ma'aya underscored the Kingdom's commitment to cementing relations between the two countries in various economic, agricultural, tourism and educational fields, calling for increasing parliamentary visits to exchange expertise in these areas.

The association, he noted, is committed to overcoming difficulties and obstacles facing Kazakh investors, reviewing some of the most prominent bills recently approved by the Lower House of Parliament.

For his part, Toumatov stressed the deep-rooted ties, which were established by the two countries' leaders, highlighting the Kazakh president's political and economic achievements.
