Minister of State for Media Affairs Faisal Shboul, Wednesday, warned that press in resource-poor countries is facing the threat of bankruptcy.

In the session dubbed "The Media.. The New Role of Building Future Governments" in Dubai, Shboul said: "When the advertising market is absorbed in favour of a number of companies, the press institutions will be facing an existential threat."
