Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian Government on Sunday condemned an explosion that targeted the motorcade of Egypt's Alexandria security director yesterday, killing two policemen and injuring five others.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and the government spokesman, Mohammad Al-Momani, said such acts are further proof that terrorists embrace heinous and criminal ideology, stressing the need for all world countries to unite to eradicate this phenomenon.

Al-Momani emphasized Jordan's support for Egypt and its efforts to eliminate terrorists and their crimes and consolidate security and stability throughout the country.

The minister voiced the Jordanian government's condolences to the Egyptian government and to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
