Relatively cold weather remains until Wednesday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Monday, but relatively cold weather will remain in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with high clouds and southwesterly light winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 14 degrees Celsius dropping down to 7 and 8 degrees respectively, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 25 degrees dropping down to 15 degrees at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures will continue to rise over the next two days, but similar weather conditions will remain with clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the department noted.
As we head into Wednesday night, the country will be affected by unstable weather conditions, which will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered showers at time across the Kingdom. Heavy rain accompanied with thunder and lightning are also expected at times, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD further added.
