King inaugurates officers club

Ammon News - AMMAN (Jordan Times) — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Monday visited the army headquarters.

During the visit, the King met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Zaben and discussed several army-related issues, a Royal Court statement said.

His Majesty also inaugurated the officers club and toured its facilities in the capital's Tabarbour neighbourhood. Built upon the King’s directives, the 7,000 square metre, four-storey club is constructed on a 22-dunum plot of land, and includes play grounds, swimming pools and several gardens.

HRH Prince Feisal, Zaben and several senior army officers attended the inauguration ceremony.
