He added that the department's cadres, in cooperation with the police, criminal investigation and preventive security directorates in Mafraq Governorate and the Northern Badia, carried out three security campaigns over several days, during which 16 people were arrested, including dealers, promoters and wanted persons in drug cases, and various quantities of narcotics were seized in their possession.
In Ma'an Governorate, a security campaign was carried out against drug dealers, traders and wanted persons, which led to the arrest of 7 of them, including a wanted person classified as dangerous, and a total of 6,000 narcotic pills, quantities of hashish and a firearm were seized in their possession.
In the western Balqa regions, three people were arrested during a joint security campaign of those wanted in cases of marijuana cultivation after raiding their locations.
In Mafraq Governorate, after collecting information about a number of people and their possession of large quantities of narcotic pills, their location and the drugs in their possession were determined, and they were raided and five people were arrested, including two people classified as dangerous who were involved in the case after 26,000 narcotic pills were seized in their possession.
The administration's cadres in Ajloun Governorate were able, after tracking and collecting information about a person classified as dangerous and against whom 22 requests were filed, most of them for drug cases, to determine his location, raid him, arrest him, and with him two other people, and 1,500 narcotic pills, five hashish gloves, and a quantity of crystal meth were seized in their possession. In Jerash Governorate, a wanted person for drug cases, classified as dangerous, and who was out of sight, was raided, and after a tight ambush, he was arrested and a quantity of narcotic substances were seized in his possession. In Irbid Governorate, a person was arrested for planting quantities of narcotic marijuana seedlings, and 300 marijuana seedlings were seized in the land used.
