Ammon News - A former diplomat in the Israeli occupation revealed that the perpetrator of the operation at King Hussein Bridge studied well how to bring his weapon with him to the Israeli side of the crossing.

The former diplomat said via the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, according to what was monitored by Ammon, that the perpetrator of the operation is well acquainted with the mechanisms and checkpoints at the crossing, which made him hide his weapon well and bring it in without being discovered.

He explained that there has always been a state of alert between the two sides since the events of October 7, but what happened today is considered a state of greater alert.

King Hussein Bridge is considered an important crossing for trade between Jordan and the occupied territories, as well as the crossing of Jordanians to the occupied territories and vice versa, and receives hundreds of trucks from the Jordanian side daily.

Regarding the trucks waiting to cross, the diplomat indicated that hundreds of trucks loaded with goods are currently at the crossing waiting to enter, and there are trucks whose entry will be postponed for two to three months, and these are trucks that do not carry important and urgent goods such as building materials and others.
