Two international airlines resume flights to Jordan

Ammon News - Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, CEO of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority (CARC), Captain Haitham Misto, said that two international airlines have resumed operations to Jordan out of five companies that had previously suspended their operations to and from Jordan.
The German airline "Lufthansa" and the "Austrian Airlines" have resumed their flights to the capital, Amman, Misto added.
In a statement on Thursday, Misto explained that the airlines whose flights to Jordan are still suspended whose flights to Jordan are still suspended are operating at a low frequency to the Kingdom, with a total operation of no more than 5 flights per week, which constitutes less than 1% of the total operation of Queen Alia International Airport and to parts of the United States, Spain and Greece. These countries are connected to the Kingdom through the national carrier, Royal Jordanian, with direct and scheduled flights that have not been changed.
