After intensifying search and inspection operations in the area, quantities of narcotic substances were found, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities, the source added. The source underlined that the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army will use full force against any threat to the borders and prevent anyone tempted from tampering with Jordanian national security.

Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone, in coordination with other security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND), thwarted on Wednesday an infiltration and smuggling attempt of narcotics from Syrian territory, an official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army announced on Thursday.

After intensifying search and inspection operations in the area, quantities of narcotic substances were found, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities, the source added.

The source underlined that the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army will use full force against any threat to the borders and prevent anyone tempted from tampering with Jordanian national security.
