Jordan Customs thwarts smuggling of 700,000 nutritional supplement capsules

Ammon News - The cadres of the Jordan Customs Department (JCD), who working at the Aqaba Customs Center, foiled the smuggling of a large quantity of nutritional supplements, estimated at approximately 700,000 pills, which were stored in a container with the intention of smuggling under bad and unsanitary conditions.

Customs in Aqaba seized the entire quantity to transfer it to the competent authorities in preparation for examination and taking the necessary legal measures against it.

The Customs Department affirmed its diligent keenness to prevent the entry of any harmful or counterfeit materials that are not subject to regulatory procedures from the competent authorities.
