"The issuance of the decree will and the royal order to hold the elections coincided with the royal visit by His Majesty King Abdullah II to the Independent Election Commission (IEC) and met with its president and board of commissioners to check on preparations to administer and oversee the electoral process," Maaytah said. "At the beginning of next week, the board of commissioners will issue the timetable regulating the course of the electoral process in all its stages, including the nomination date," he added.

Ammon News - Independent Election Commission (IEC) President, Musa Maaytah, announced the Commission’s decision to set Tuesday, September 10, 2024, as the date for voting in the parliamentary elections.
