Investigations showed that the employee embezzled an amount of JD93,000 during the period 2022-2023 from the municipality’s revenues without transferring them to its account. The IACC had previously referred this case to the Public Prosecution.

Ammon News - The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission's (IACC) Public Prosecutor decided to place a former accountant in the Kafr Yuba Municipality in Deir Abi Saeed District under detention for two weeks on charge of embezzlement.

Investigations showed that the employee embezzled an amount of JD93,000 during the period 2022-2023 from the municipality’s revenues without transferring them to its account.

The IACC had previously referred this case to the Public Prosecution.
