Jordan sends 75 new trucks to Gaza Strip

Ammon News - The Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Arm, and in partnership with Humanitarian Appeal- UK, Qatar Red Crescent, and Rahma Worldwide, sent a new food aid convoy to our people in Gaza.
The convoy, consisting of 75 trucks, carried food parcels to cross the King Hussein Bridge towards the Karem Abu Salem crossing, so that they could be delivered to our people in Gaza and distributed through partner associations and organizations in the Strip.
JHCO's Secretary-General, Hussein Shibli, stressed the importance of addressing the food shortage in the Gaza Strip, indicating that the organization is working to continuously bring food aid into the Strip and increase the volume of aid sent as quickly as possible.
Since the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid al-Fitr, more than 280 trucks of basic foodstuffs have been sent to the people of Gaza, and the total number of trucks sent via the land bridge has reached 962 trucks, Shibli added.
The JHCO continues to receive cash contributions through its designated bank account at Bank al Etihad, account number: JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06, or through electronic wallets or use the CliQ – Instant Payment System to 'JHCOGAZA'. Furthermore, the organization has streamlined the process for contributions through invoices and its official website: www.jhco.org.jo.
