Ammon News - The Iranian embassy in Jordan denied on Sunday its country's threat to the Kingdom, stressing that the statements issued about Jordan's threat are incorrect and from unofficial sources.

"What was issued through Iranian media about Jordan does not represent the position of Iran, which expresses its official positions through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," the embassy said.

Iran's Fars news agency quoted a source as saying Tehran was closely watching Jordan, which might become the next target in case of any moves in support of Israel, according to Reuters.
